Maddi

They/Them

I got into TTRPGs in high school, then fell in love with Critical Role and have been playing ever since! TTRPGs are a fantastic creative tool that brings people together to explore both a fantastical world and, through collaboration with players and under the guidance of a game master, learn more about themselves. While I mostly run DnD 5e, I also frequently run games in systems such as Call of Cthulhu and Daggerheart. I run games to provide players with an experience they can get invested in and excited for, where their actions and choices have tangible reactions to the worlds they find themselves in.

Around 2013, a friend invited me to an afterschool game of D&D 3.5 edition run by our history teacher. After the very first session, I was hooked. (RIP Mr. Madigan.) I mostly play D&D 5E and have adopted 5.5E into my games as well. I also REALLY like to run and play Lancer and Mobile Frame Zero thanks to my love of giant robots and science fiction. I think TTRPG’s provide a wonderful space for people in a community to gather and have the shared experience of building a story. D&D and the people I have met through it have helped me get through some tough times in life.

He/Him

I borrowed the 5-CD set of Baldur’s Gate 1 from my friend up the street at age 9, immediately became fascinated with the system and with the setting, and accelerated from there. I primarily run Call of Cthulhu and Spire: The City Must Fall, but continue to frequently run DnD 5e as well. Currently learning Blades in the Dark, Lancer, and Delta Green. My favorite thing about TTRPGs is the freedom of storytelling direction that comes from the medium. Even the best open-ended video game only has a finite number of things you can do, but anything can happen in a TTRPG.

He/Him

I started playing D&D 2E back in 1996 and have avidly played 2E-3.5E and now 5E. I love the reframing for life that TTRPGs can provide, from the empathy you gain through roleplay to the creativity of a well-woven tale. The collective storytelling brings together people in a way no other type of game can, and I have been grateful for the friendships forged through it. Most of all, I find that characters are a powerful tool to lend a voice to those players who have not yet found their own. Fun and storyline always rule my tables, so come join us!

She/Her

I started playing D&D in late 2022. I primarily run Monster of the Week, Dungeons & Dragons 5e, and Call of Cthulhu. Most of my games lean towards a roleplay/combat balance, and I enjoy mixing in humor. I also draw inspiration from horror films as I frequently incorporate dread, mystery, unsettling imagery, and such into the things I run. I love creating memorable stories and watching characters grow through their choices and experiences. Some of my favorite moments are when a table is laughing one minute and completely invested in an emotional scene the next.

Hannah

She/Her

I started by making up my own TTRPG with my cousins not even knowing about D&D. In college, I joined a D&D group and instantly fell in love. I DM solely for Dungeons and Dragons. I love the creativity and collaboration part of D&D. I love telling stories that will be unique to each group. As a DM, I love seeing players figure out twists and turns that I set up sessions ago. I am a big fan of the rule of cool, especially in one shots. We’re all here for a good time so I try not to let the nitty gritty get in the way of that.

He/Him

I started playing with friends in 2014, learning 5e to DM Lost Mines of Phandelver. I DM for D&D, Monster of the Week, and Dread (might be my favorite), and I’m learning others like Daggerheart, Root, and Vampire: The Masquerade. I love interpersonal drama, especially challenging priorities, but I also always keep it fun. I love that we can use characters as a sandbox for ourselves a few hours at a time. I heavily prioritize story over rules, do my best to create illustrative scenes, make character actions feel powerful, and help everyone at the table participate.

Ari

They/Them

I first got into TTRPGs in late high school/early college with a group of friends that wanted to hang out more. Currently, I prefer to DM for either DnD, LOTR, or CoC, but I am slowly learning more about other systems like VtM, Delta Green, Monsterhearts, Monster of the Week, and the Dresden Files. As a DM, I tend towards roleplay and storytelling more than combat, in addition to world-building and player interaction to flesh out and tell an emotionally fulfilling story.
